Merindah Farm Puppy Pricing Policy
The aim of our puppy pricing policy is to be as fair as possible to everyone on our puppy waiting list.
Our policy on pricing is as follows:
The price quoted to you in your first email from us will be the price you pay for your puppy provided that:
Your deposit securing your place on our waiting list is received within 7 days of that email, and
You accept a puppy from our next litter that conforms to the preferences you stated on joining the list
If you postpone to a later litter for any other reason, the price you will pay will be in accordance with the prices current at the time you paid your deposit.
When you are offered a puppy from a litter and decide to accept your placement in that litter, an additional payment of $1000 toward the purchase price is required within 7 days of acceptance
The remaining balance is payable on a mutually agreed payment plan, balance to be paid in full when your puppy is 9 weeks old.
We are under no obligation to notify you of changes to our prices. However, we are very happy to answer your inquiries at any time
We are able to supply a tax invoice if requested
Our policy on deposits is as follows:
Your position on our waiting list is strictly determined by the date the waiting list deposit is received
If we are unable to provide a puppy for you in the time-frame estimated in our first email to you and you wish to leave the list, you are entitled to a full refund of your deposit
If you cancel your placement on the list for any other reason we will refund your deposit minus $100 admin fee.
If you cancel your placement on the list after being allocated and accepting a puppy your payment(s) to date is/are non-refundable but will be held for you as a credit on your next puppy from our group.
Our policy on final payment
Final payment needs to be completed 2 days prior to your puppy turning 9 weeks of age, the usual pickup date, unless you are selecting and purchasing a puppy older than 9 weeks of age, or we have an agreed payment plan. Puppies selected and purchased older than 9 weeks of age and/or on a payment plan, need to be paid in full 2 days prior to the agreed collection date.
Our policy on puppies boarded with us past 9 weeks of age
Puppies boarded with us after 9 weeks, due either to inability to collect on that date, or for planned additional boarding and training, will incur a fee of $22 per day for food, care and ongoing training.
We may deem a puppy not ready to leave us at 9 weeks, in this case boarding will not be charged until after the date that we deem the puppy independent enough to leave us.
